The Peter Hatcher Family Bursary is offered in memory of Peter Hatcher. He was Georgian Bay Forever’s champion, friend, and the most dedicated advocate for Georgian Bay that we will likely ever know. Peter will always be remembered for his passion and never-ending love for our water and his drive to protect its beauty for all. He was integral to our organization as a core volunteer, inspirational donor, and fundraiser. We will always be thankful for his guidance and leadership.
 

This bursary is open to graduate students, M.Sc. or Ph.D. candidates, or senior undergraduates undertaking a senior level thesis project, who are conducting investigations of direct interest to Georgian Bay and the objectives of our organization.
