About the event

In addition to invasive Phragmites cutting, each day will include a Phrag removal tutorial, free snacks and drinks, a free raffle for GBF merch, and either a drone mapping flight on October 7 or a radio telemetry (i.e. wildlife tracking) demonstration on October 8. This event will be an opportunity to give back to the Bay, connect with like-minded people, learn about invasive species and species at risk, and ask questions about GBF's work in both Matchedash and Georgian Bay.

Please reach out by email to Erin at ecosystems@gbf.org to RSVP or ask questions! In your RSVP, please include the number of participants in your group (if applicable) and the number of vehicles you plan to drive. There is limited parking at the site, so carpooling is appreciated!
