The Georgian Bay Photographic Retrospective
Georgian Bay Forever is a charity that focuses on protecting and preserving the Georgian Bay aquatic ecosystem for the generations ahead, but just because we’re driven to look forward, doesn’t mean we can’t stop to appreciate our past.
This summer of 2024 we are calling on donors and friends to submit photos of Georgian Bay taken before 1990, for an online photo exhibition in celebration and acknowledgement of our stories, our connections, and our deeply rooted love of Georgian Bay.
Photos can be anything related to the history of Georgian Bay, or your personal history with Georgian Bay. Photos of family, friends, landscape, waterscape, communities, businesses, etc. are welcome – professional and amateur alike. Just make sure that you have permission to share the photo and the people in it, and be sure to tell us the story behind the photo.
