About the event
Georgian Bay Forever has been working with local school classes to raise brook trout and teach kids about aquatic ecosystems and fish habitat through hands-on experience. These programs are ever-increasing in popularity, and this year we're having an event to launch our little trout into the local waterways!
Come learn how the trout are raised, talk with volunteers, release fish yourself, and even take a tour of the hatchery! We will be releasing fish for the duration of the event, so come any time.
We will also be serving a BBQ lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, and other light refreshments.
If it rains, we will move the event to May 24th, same time and place.
